TOXILATIN 2018
Diffusion of knowledge is the most promising path for the advancement of Science. Spreading the knowledge that is already established opens spaces for new discussions and discoveries, which guide the next challenges in the area of Toxicology based on the concerns of the scientific community. What was once summarized in forensic studies, today is the search for longevity and life quality. The current challenges are focused on reducing the toxicological effects in different living systems, while the type of exposure and amount of potential toxic agents are increasing in exposures to xenobiotic at the nanoscale.
In this context, the theme of the 2nd ToxiLatin is the modern Toxicology focused on health and prevention. Important national and international scientists are going to participate in this Congress in order to discuss and reduce the frontiers of knowledge on the use of technologies intended for potential strategies to prevent chronic noncommunicable diseases caused by chemical agents. Nanotoxicology will once again be a highlight of the Congress, thus we can move forward in ensuring the safe use of nano-drugs that can revolutionize innumerous medical treatments, such as cancer therapy.
Modern Toxicology diffuses, discusses and advances to improve the quality of human life using modern resources, alternative models and multidisciplinarity, which is peculiar to this Science.
