2013 The inaugural issue was released. Diseases was published as a quarterly journal.
2015 Diseases established the following sections:
-Rare Syndrome;
-Oncology;
-Cardiology.
2016 Diseases announced the first edition of the Travel Award.
2017 Diseases was indexed in PubMed—National Library of Medicine (NLM), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2018 Editor-in-Chif Prof. Dr. Maurizio Battino visited Diseases Office on 17 August.
2020 Diseases established the following section:
-Comorbidity.
2021 Diseases was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 7 (Issue 1).
2022

Diseases was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 8 (Issue 1).

Diseases published its 500th paper.

2023 Diseases received its first Impact Factor (3.7).
2024 Diseases adopted a monthly publication schedule.
Comorbidity was discontinued.
Immunology was discontinued.
