Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

I tried finding the data set from the reference you mention: 36. Where is it? In their paper they do describe some data sets put I could not find it to download. Please provide additional information on how to obtain it.

Also, please discuss how current the data sets are and why they still are valid. It's journal paper from 2015, so their data is probably from 2012 or so.

Author Response

Thanks. According to your comments, I have revised the paper. Please see the attachment.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript proposed the role-mining optimization with separation of duty constraints and security detections for authorizations (RMO_SODSDA) technique. The results validate the efficiency of the proposed technique.

The authors should consider the following comments:

1- Consider adding the uncertainty (error-bars) in your results.

2- Add Inputs/Outputs in Algorithm 4.

3- Add more justifications about the presented algorithms throughout the text.

4- Quantify your conclusion.

5- Contribute more about the results (ex. Fig 4, Why the query time goes up then down then up? )

6- Why did you choose 300 for the number of roles? Why not 400?

7- Consider adding a table for symbols to make it easy for the reader.

8- Numerate the equations.

9- English need proofread.
