What are the responsibilities of a Book Editor?
The Book Editor is responsible for determining the book's purpose, structure, and style and for selecting the individual contributors who will write the chapters. The Book Editor makes an assessment based on the suitability of selected reviewers, the adequacy of reviewer comments and author response, and the overall scientific quality of the paper. Furthermore, they ensure that the volume is comprehensive as a whole as well as for each individual chapter.
