This Reprint encompasses the following aspects: the toxic effects of emerging contaminants and their industrial applications, demonstrated on different animal models; the use of natural compounds and dietary supplementation to support the function of an organism after exposure to emerging contaminants; environmental contamination; toxicological risks related to the consumption of contaminated food; and evaluations of the effects of new treatments.
