
Sandra Ricart
Biography
Sandra Ricart is a human-environment geographer interested in modelling coupled human–nature systems interdependencies from social-learning and stakeholder behaviour analysis. She received her PhD in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability in 2014 from the University of Girona, Spain. She is currently a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action IF post-doctoral researcher at the Environmental Intelligence Lab at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Since 2017 she has collaborated with the Interuniversity Institute of Geography at the University of Alicante, Spain, as a researcher in several projects, as a lecturer for the Master of Planning and Management of Natural Risks and as Coordinator and Professor of a MOOC on natural risks analysis. She was a Visiting Researcher at different universities in France, Italy and the Netherlands and has published about 30 articles in JCR and Scopus journals.
