Dr. Jayanath Ananda is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Central Queensland University, Australia. His research interests focus on water management and policy, water utility performance, climate change adaptation, household food waste behaviour and sustainability. He has contributed to many research projects dealing with water management and watershed development in Australia and South Asia. He has over 70 publications, including articles in top-ranked journals and book chapters in authoritative volumes. He serves as the Associate Editor of Water Policy, the official journal of the World Water Council.
