Kaiwen Zhang

Mr. Kaiwen Zhang has been a PhD Student at Zhejiang University since 2016, and a joint PhD student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from October 2019 to October 2020. His research focus is on land institutional change and land conversion policy. Moreover, he is also interested in discursive analysis and archetypal methods for resource governance. His work mainly relies on institutional economics, historical politics and political sociology. Based on the institutionalism paradigm, he tries to compare the formation, function and transition of different governance structures of land systems, and explore the motivations and behaviors among multi-level governments.
