Christian Schleyer

Biography

Dr. Christian Schleyer is a specialist in institutional and ecological economics focusing on agrienvironmental policies, cultural landscapes, water management, the governance of ecosystem services and social–ecological–technical systems. He studied Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Swansea University (Wales), holds a PhD in Resource Economics, and has a venia legendi for Agricultural Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany). He currently works as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Geography at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and at the Section of International Agricultural Policy and Environmental Governance at the University of Kassel, Germany.
