Clas-Håkan Nygård

Dr. Clas-Håkan Nygård is a Professor (Occupational Health) in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tampere, Finland. He has extensive experience in aging research through his studies in ergonomics, work physiology and occupational gerontology. Dr. Nygård is well published in the field of aging and work and has written numerous scientific articles and chapters. He was previously President of the Finnish, as well as the Nordic, Ergonomics Societies and past Secretary and Founder of the European Federation of Ergonomics Societies. He has also chaired the Technical Committee on Aging in the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) and the International Committee of Occupational Health (ICOH).
