Charline Depoorter

Biography

Charline Depoorter is a Doctoral Researcher at the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies and at the Division of Bioeconomics, University of Leuven. She studied at the University of Leuven, the University of Edinburgh, and ICHEC Brussels Management School. Her research focuses on governance for sustainable development and (non-state) governance of global trade. More specifically, she has been working on the design and effectiveness of voluntary sustainability standards (VSS).
