About Vibration

Aims

Vibration (ISSN 2571-631X) is dedicated to the scientifically rigorous dissemination of peer-reviewed publications pertinent to vibration science and engineering. It publishes reviews, research papers and technical notes. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. We are an online journal and we aim to benefit from that by encouraging researchers to report their research work in as much detail as possible. This is a requirement as we want to publish research that can be scrutinized in minute detail and replicated.

Scope

  • vibration control, identification, diagnostics and monitoring
  • mathematical modeling in vibration analysis
  • signal analysis
  • experimental techniques in vibration science and engineering
  • vibration and energy problems related to biomechanics
  • vibration problems in environmental engineering
  • generation of vibrations and waves
  • acoustics, noise and noise control
  • vibration serviceability, including source, path, receiver
  • vibration and human factors

MDPI Publication Ethics Statement

Vibration is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications. MDPI works with Publons to provide reviewers with credit for their work.
