2–6 July 2018, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK
British Human Computer Interaction Conference

This conference has been running for over 30 years attracting international and national researchers. With the explosion of big data, the 2018 conference will have a theme on human-data interaction. However, as with every year, all topics related to HCI are welcome and encouraged once the call for papers is released early next year. HCI is an exciting area to be doing research in especially with
the growth of user experience (UX) design, natural and intelligent user interfaces, conversational user interfaces, virtual and augmented realities and affffective computing to name but a few emerging areas. This conference will be a good opportunity to network with international researchers as well as both the British HCI community and the Irish HCI community. Whilst academics can
present and publish their papers, we will also have a doctoral consortium, workshops on topics such as usable cybersecurity, usability, human-data interaction and affective computing. We will have an industry track to attract UX practitioners working in companies. More details will follow on our website which will be launched in due course.
