About Signals

Aims

Signals is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles, critical reviews, research notes, and short communications in the research, development or practical application of signals and signal processing. It aims to provide an advanced forum for academic researchers, engineers, industrial professionals, educators, policy makers, etc. working in the field to contribute and disseminate innovative work on signals and signal processing. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the calculation or experimental procedure can be deposited as supplementary electronic material.

Scope

Signals invites submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Signal theory, analysis, and discovery
  • Signal processing theory, algorithms, design, and implementation
  • Spectral analysis
  • Filtering
  • Signal processing system and technology
  • Digital and optical Signal Processing
  • Multimedia signal processing and technology
  • Software developments
  • Signal processing design tools
  • Multi-dimensional signal processing
  • Statistical and adaptive signal processing
  • Communication and networking signal processing
  • Geophysical and astrophysical signal processing
