The IMDEA Materials Institute is pleased to host WAB2024 (Workshop on Additive Biofabrication), a common point for innovators, researchers, and experts from around the world for a groundbreaking exploration of the rapidly evolving field of additive biofabrication. WAB2024 promises to be an exceptional platform where cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and creative ideas intersect to drive the future of biofabrication. WAB2024 will take place from September 26th to 27th at the Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies (IMDEA) Materials Institute. The aims and scope of WAB2024 encompass a broad range of objectives and areas of interest within the field of additive biofabrication. The key aims and the scope of the workshop are as follows: (i) it provides a platform for networking, collaboration, and interdisciplinary discussions. (ii) The scope includes biofabrication technologies, biomaterials, tissue engineering, medical and industrial applications, challenges, ethics, future directions, sustainability, and education. (iii) WAB2024 seeks to drive progress in biofabrication, fostering responsible and sustainable development in various fields while promoting ethical and regulatory awareness. (iv) The overarching goal of WAB2024 is to create a dynamic and inclusive platform where participants can engage in meaningful discussions, share their expertise, and contribute to the advancement of additive biofabrication, ultimately driving its real-world applications and impact.
