Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

First, I would like to present my pleasure for this opportunity reading this work. In my opinion, it's an interesting research and the results can help Malaysia improve the road landscapes in rural area, and there is potential to expand the discovery to other countries.

Second, there are several comments and suggestions for the authors to polish this work, and they are:

1. I suggest to reorganize 1.1,1.2, and 1.3 to a independent part of the paper and name it to "literature review", and in the last paragraph of this part, put some critical thoughts and conclusion on the literature reviews, combining with the aim of the paper.

2. 3 aims are proposed in the second page of this paper, and all are focusing on Malaysia. I understand that the unique contributions to the country, while we should believe that a wider contribution should be figured out. Could the authors address more aims or wider aims of this paper?

3. Due to the fact that the majority of the respondents are young people, the results of this research have a certain age bias.  Authors are suggested t explain more on  the results reasonability given the age bias here. And the same questions exist in ethinicity and type of work.

Thanks again.
