This excellent work explores the effect of synthetic cannabinoids in glioblastoma. There was no effect of the synthetic cannabinoids on expression of miRs, proliferation, apoptosis and AKT phosphorylation. For the determination of the invasiveness a highly sophisticated technique with hippocampal slices was used. Here, the authors found a cell line specific effect of the cannabinoids, which was very heterogenous. This heterogenous response is likely to be explained by the known strong heterogeneity of glioblastoma. Further studies exploring the causes of a specific response of the synthetic cannabinoids used on a given cell line must be performed. However, these prospective experiments are outside the scope of this work and should be explored in another project. The current experiments are the basis of further research possibly leading to a phase I clinical trial. Despite much research there is still an extraordinary clinical need for new therapies for glioblastoma. Therefore, this work will find many interested readers. I strongly advocate publication in "Cancers" without further changes necessary.
