Abstract: A new Schiff base, 4-{[(4-methylphenyl)imino]methyl}-3-hydroxyphenyl 4-(hexadecanoyloxy)benzoate was synthesized and its IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR and MS spectroscopic data are presented.
