Abstract

An improved method for the generation of dichlorocarbene was developed that utilizes ultrasound in the reaction of carbon tetrachloride with magnesium. High yields of gem-dichlorocyclopropane derivatives can be obtained in the presence of olefins by this method. View Full-Text
