International Journal of Neonatal Screening — Open Access Journal of Neonatal Screening & Neonatal Medicine

International Journal of Neonatal Screening (ISSN 2409-515X) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal on neonatal screening and neonatal medicine. It is the official journal of the International Society for Neonatal Screening (ISNS) published quarterly online by MDPI. IJNS is also the official journal of the German Society for Neonatal Screening (DGNS), which is an affiliated society to the journal. 
  • Open Access - free for readers, free publication for well-prepared manuscripts submitted in 2018.
  • Case reports: this journal publishes a section with well prepared case reports.
  • Rapid publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 25 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 8.6 days (median values for papers published in the first six months of 2018).
  • Recognition of Reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in any MDPI journal, in appreciation of the work done.
