About Condensed Matter

Aims

Condensed Matter (ISSN 2410-3896) is an international, open access journal covering all aspects of the physics of condensed matter systems. It publishes original research articles and reviews, and there is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish full details of their experimental and theoretical results including, where possible, access to original data and computer code, so that the results can be reproduced.

Scope

The following areas are covered by the journal:

  • Solid state physics
  • Magnetism
  • Structure of matter and phase transitions
  • Properties of composites and alloys
  • Electronic properties of materials
  • Superconductivity
  • Spintronics
  • Quantum phenomena in complex condensed matter
  • Soft condensed matter, active matter
  • Computational methods applied to condensed matter
  • Materials for energy and electronics in the quantum era
