Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This paper provides a comprehensive review of the annealing temperatures on the performance of perovskite solar cells. Not only the active perovskite layer, the effects on hole transport layer and electron transport layer are also investigated. This review is interesting and can provide very useful information for this field. Therefore, I recommend this paper for publication. My only comment is that the introduction part is too simple. For example, the device structure, concept of convention and inverted structures can be first introduced.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors present a review on the influence of temperature treatment during the different stages of perovskite sample preparation. Although most of the aspects are known or summarized partially in many review articles (e.g. specialized on ETL development), the review could be helpful for the community and I can recommend it for publication.

I would have only few comments / suggestions:

- you might more explicetly comment if you are refering to nip architecture (at the ETL section) or the pin architecture (at the HTL section).

- you might mention / refer also to the influence of the annealing of the subsequent layer after the perovskite deposition. There has been e.g. work on the effect of PCBM annealing and the influence on perovskite morphology (if the perovskite was not annealed before).

- there is also an additional effect for semitransparent devices due to sputter damage where post-annealing can improve the interface and efficiency.

- you could also mention the special needs for flexible devices where high temperature steps like TiOx or NiOx are not applicable.
