Abstract

Color reactions with Cu(II) salts in strongly acidic solutions are presented for identification of H2-antihistamines and thiourea derivatives. Identification is discussed of Met, cimetidine, ranitidine, famotidine, nizatidine, propylthiouracil, thiopental, thiourea, and tiamulin.
