The author and journal retract the article (The Temporal-Spatial Distribution and Information-Diffusion-Based Risk Assessment of Forest Fires in China) [1]. Following publication, the author contacted the editorial office regarding incorrect data selection and use of variables.
The variables used to support the article’s conclusions are not supported by the data, and the reported data period is incorrect. Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted that confirmed the error and the article is therefore retracted.
This retraction was approved by the Editor in Chief of the journal Sustainability.
The author agreed to this retraction.
