Abstract: In this paper we propose the synthesis of 2-(2-(6-chloro-9H-purin-9-yl)ethoxy)-6-isobutoxy-tetrahydro-2H-pyran-3-ol as a new potential antiviral agent Its structure has been confirmed by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV and Mass spectroscopic data.
