About Cybersecurity

Aims

Cybersecurity is an online, open access, peer-reviewed journal which provides a forum for the dissemination of research related to all technical areas of cyber security. This includes information, computer and network security, cryptography, cyber–physical system security, digital forensics, etc., but the journal also includes interdisciplinary articles that cover privacy, ethical, legal, and economical aspects of cyber security. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their theoretical and experimental details in order that the results can be reproduced. Therefore, there is no restriction on the length of the papers. There are, in addition, further unique features of this journal:

  • manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcome;
  • electronic files or software regarding the supporting calculations and experimental procedures can be deposited as supplementary material;
  • we also accept manuscripts communicating to a broader audience with regard to cyber security research projects financed with public funds;
  • copies of source codes or executables, if available, can also be deposited.
