Reviewer 1 Report

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors presented that maize and rice weevils exhibit different host preferences among three types of grains. Their research represents a valuable impact on previous knowledge of host volatile for the tested weevils therefore contributing to the possibility of applying the acquired knowledge for traps and repellents development. The proposed manuscript will be suitable for publishing in the Journal Insects, after some minor corrections. Detailed comments and recommendations are listed within the attached file.
