Aims & Scope

Aims

Signals (ISSN 2624-6120) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science and engineering of signals and its applications. It publishes reviews, research articles, short communications and letters. Our aim is to encourage scientists and engineers to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided.

Scope

Signals solicit papers from, but not limited to the following topics:

• Theories, algorithms & methods in signal processing
• Statistical signal processing
• Machine learning for signal processing
• Spectral analysis
• Adaptive filters and signal enhancement
• Information theory methods
• Image & video processing
• Signal processing for communication systems
• Signal processing for sensor systems
• Signal processing in speech, acoustics & Music
• Biomedical applications of signal processing
• Radar, lidar and sonar
• Fault detection & structural health monitoring
• Information security, cryptography & coding
• Miscellaneous applications of signal processing: robotics, control systems, IoT, finance, etc.

MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.

Authors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address. Received books will be listed as Books Received within the journal's News & Announcements section.
