2017	The inaugural issue was released. Colloids and Interfaces was published as a quarterly journal.
2018	Colloids and Interfaces was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2020	Colloids and Interfaces was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2023	Colloids and Interfaces received its 2022 CiteScore (4.8). Colloids and Interfaces received its first Impact Factor (2.4).
2024	Colloids and Interfaces adopted a bimonthly publication schedule.
2025	Colloids and Interfaces established the following sections: Colloidal Systems; Interfacial Properties; Self-Assembling Phenomena; Fluid Dynamics and Multiphase Flows; Application of Colloids and Interfacial Aspects.
