Journal of Clinical Medicine Exceptional Reviewers List 2024

We are thrilled to share the updated Exceptional Reviewers List 2024. This program was designed to recognize and honor scholars who have delivered consistently exceptional review reports to our journal. Committed to fostering rigorous research and promoting knowledge exchange, the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM, ISSN: 2077-0383) recognizes the significant role our reviewers play in maintaining the quality and integrity of the articles we publish. According to recent surveys conducted in 2023, 91% of our authors rate the peer-review process as good or excellent, due to our team of excellent reviewers.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the reviewers who have generously volunteered their time and expertise to assist in the Journal of Clinical Medicine’s peer-review process. Their dedication and attention to detail in evaluating manuscripts, offering valuable feedback, and contributing to academic rigor are truly commendable.

The Exceptional Reviewers List was introduced in April 2024. Each quarter, we will be selecting a group of outstanding reviewers and introduce them here.

Interests: Peripheral nerve disorders and neuropathic behavior; pain in neurological patients; therapeutic exercise in neufield andtation; perceptual disorders after a central lesion; robotics and technology in neurorehabilitation
As a lecturer and clinician, my main interest when reviewing papers is to learn about updates in the neurorehabilitation field, and help through my contribution to set the standards concerning solutions for people who had suffered a lesion to their nervous system. Also, I am very much interested in papers offering different ways to understand common signs and symptoms in the field, such as spasticity or neuropathic behavior in such conditions, as I strongly believe that understanding peripheral nerve adaptations after a neurological disorder onset can shine a light on perceptual and motor alterations we see in the clinical setting. The review process also allows me to take a broader look on my field and to get in touch with researchers worldwide, with different points of view, opening my clinical reasoning to new perspectives in neurorehabilitation.
