We hope that you enjoy reading the publications that resulted from this conference, addressing a variety of research topics that cover the following areas in the context of the pandemic: infectious disease epidemiology, environmental exposures and health, mental health, children’s health, women’s health, occupational safety and health, public health statistics and risk assessment, etc. Science is crucial to bringing these world health issues under control and pointing the way forward for a better future for all of us.
