Cover Story: Now in its seventh year, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta organizes the 7th Mechanical Engineering, Science, and Technology (MEST) annual conference. The conference's theme, Innovations for a Sustainable Future: Engineering Solutions for Global Challenges, brings together experts from academia and industry. The keynote speaker discusses water splitting, hydrogen cars, and fuel cell technology. This year, the conference approved thirty papers from five countries for consideration. The papers were presented by each participant both physically and online.
