Crude oil is a widely recognized, indispensable global and national economic resource. It is significantly susceptible to the boundless fluctuations attributed to various variables. Despite its capacity to sustain the global economic framework, the embedded uncertainties correlated with the crude oil markets present formidable challenges that investors must diligently navigate. In this research, we propose a hybrid machine learning model based on random forest (RF), gated recurrent unit (GRU), conventional neural network (CNN), extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), functional partial least squares (FPLS), and stacking. This hybrid model facilitates the decision-making process related to the import and export of crude oil in India. The precision and reliability of the different machine learning models utilized in this study were validated through rigorous evaluation using various error metrics, ensuring a thorough assessment of their forecasting capabilities. The conclusive results revealed that the proposed hybrid ensemble model consistently delivered effective and robust predictions compared to the individual models. Full article

Modern society, dominated by rationalism, has led to the hollowing out of life’s meaning. In response to this predicament, the question of how to transcend instrumental rationality and reconstruct an understanding of human conditions becomes crucial. Among pre-Qin thinkers, Zhuangzi offers the most profound exploration of life-related issues. His “death-life” thought embodies unique philosophical implications, revealing the fluidity, wholeness, and infinity of life. The word order of “death-life” underscores the idea of the transformation of things (wuhua, 物化), illuminating two practical pathways toward the infinite circulation of life. This understanding of life resonates with Henri Bergson’s life philosophy in their shared reverence for life’s infinite flow through intuition. However, they diverge in their views on time and subjectivity. Despite their differences, their ideas can complement each other. Integrating Bergson’s spirit of creative evolution with Zhuangzi’s carefree and detached mindset may help dissolve modern society’s obsession with utilitarian goals, allowing individuals to engage in active creation while simultaneously embracing the spontaneity and boundless possibilities of each present moment. This synthesis provides valuable insights for reconstructing life’s meaning in contemporary society. Full article

The philosophy of the Huayan school is founded on the dharmadhātu (法界) as its fundamental ontology, embodying the boundless truth of the cosmos and human existence. It seamlessly integrates the philosophical doctrine of the “perfect interpenetration and non-obstruction of Buddhist teachings”, while expounding the vast tenets of “principle (理), phenomena (事), wisdom (智), and practice (行),” all of which are encompassed within the comprehensive framework of the “four stages of faith–understanding–practice–realization (信解行证)”. The idea of “four dharmadhātus” (四法界), which was first systematically formulated by Master Chengguan, is considered one of the core doctrines of Huayan thought. However, contemporary scholarship has yet to provide a thorough elucidation of the relationship between the one true dharmadhātu (一真法界) and the four dharmadhātus, nor has it sufficiently addressed the notion that the four dharmadhātus are not merely a theoretical construct but also a genuine realization—a stage in the practice of spiritual cultivation. This study first explicates the conceptual significance of the four dharmadhātus, then analyzes the Huayan patriarchs’ interpretations of the one true dharmadhātu and the four dharmadhātus. It further explores the path to awakening through the interpenetration and non-obstruction of the four dharmadhātus and highlights the integration between the empirical world and the ideal world of Buddhist teachings. Ultimately, it argues that every realm and every stage within the dharmadhātu is perfectly complete and seamlessly interconnected. Full article

While it has been pointed out that identity is complex, unfixed and intersectional in nature, many studies tend to be restricted by their very conceptualisation of identity, which projects a sense of purism and essentialism rooted in Global North epistemologies. In this article, we consider the concept of (diasporic) identity and discuss how labels and categories of identity often prescribed to a community can and should be deconstructed for social justice purposes. We demonstrate this by examining the translanguaging practices of six Malaysian and Singaporean speakers of English in relation to their identity perception and construction. Although these multilingual speakers seemed to regard their use of multiple languages as fixed and bounded, they all showed, to varying degrees, a flexible languaging approach. The findings also suggested a defiance of expected categories of identity defined by the Global North, such as racialised language use and diasporic identity. We suggest that these prescriptive named categories are not useful in describing identities and question the labels and categories used to construct ‘identity’. We conclude by arguing for an ‘oceanic’ approach to identity, one that emphasises the fluidity, interconnectedness and boundless potential of identity to challenge oppressive structures and contribute to a more just and equitable world. The concept of “citizen” differs across disciplines. Drawing on insights from multiple disciplines, this paper argues that being respected is the fundamental ethical basis for citizens and proposes a normative framework. In this framework, people being respected as citizens relies on three foundations: autonomy, boundary, and equality. Autonomy means a citizen has the right to make choices and act independently and freely. Nevertheless, this freedom is not boundless. Boundary consciousness is the manifestation of a citizen. Being a citizen implies the presence of boundaries that safeguard individual freedom and autonomy while prohibiting violations of others’ boundaries. Equality is the fundamental element of being a citizen. Subjects in disadvantaged unequal relationships find difficulty in becoming real citizens. People engage in behaviors that harm themselves and others due to differences in social cognition, embedded social relationships that blur behavioral boundaries, and hierarchical cultures that cause status inequality. This theoretical framework can provide ethical and normative guidance for citizen cultivation. Citizen cultivation should focus on fostering people’s autonomy of being responsible and accountable, recognizing and respecting self and others’ necessary boundaries, and constructing individuals’ subjective equality consciousness. Fiber optics is a cutting-edge technology with boundless potential for transmitting natural light inside buildings. Imaging Solar concentrators are very efficient in focusing light within the approximate numerical aperture of fiber optics. The proof-of-concept of fiber optics concentration daylight systems was investigated and elaborated for only single-mode step-index fibers, and none of the previous studies had explored the full sun spectrum meticulously, the overall transmission efficiency, and the luminous output of such a system. The present research elaborates a detailed and exclusive numerical investigation of multi-mode-indexed fiber optics daylight systems. The proposed design consists of subsequent optical stages that focus light into the fiber optic cable, filter unwanted infrared wavelength radiation, and uniformly collimate visible light onto the fiber optics. The ray path and ray power intensities were traced and computed using the ray tracing technique. The obtained simulation results demonstrated an overall optical transmission efficiency of 32% along a 10 m length. The luminous efficacy of visible light transmission was evaluated based on the average illuminance levels inside buildings, indicating a substantial indoor lighting enhancement of 92 lumens/watt. The proof-of-concept was validated by building a laboratory scale of the proposed system; the tests have shown the technical feasibility of the system and the effective material integrity for practical applications Full article

The region of the Arab Gulf is marching ahead very fast toward digitalization in ways prompted by initiatives, such as Saudi Vision 2030 and the UAE’s strategy for Smart Government. Thus, both underscore the boundless movement toward the inclusion of advanced technologies into accounting practices, such as Business Intelligence and Enterprise Resource Planning systems. While these technologies enhance efficiency and facilitate informed decision-making, they also render financial data vulnerable to cybersecurity threats, such as phishing, ransomware, and insider attacks. This paper investigates the impact of cybersecurity practices, ethical accountability, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies on the adoption of and trust in digital accounting systems in the GCC region. A quantitative research approach was followed, wherein the responses from a randomly selected sample of 324 professionals representing the GCC nations were collected. The empirical analysis was completed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. Strong cybersecurity measures, AI-driven threat detection mechanisms, and custom-fit employee training programs facilitate the adoption of and faith in digital accounting information systems considerably. Ethical accountability acts as the partial mediator of those effects, and supportive regulatory frameworks enhance cybersecurity strategy effectiveness. This study examines the development of integrated cybersecurity strategies with respect to technology, ethics, and regulations. It makes several major recommendations, calling for bringing the GCC countries’ regulatory frameworks into line with international standards; encouraging workforce training programs; and utilizing AI-powered technologies for proactive threat detection and management. These findings can arm stakeholders with a holistic pathway toward developing secure, resilient, and future-oriented digital accounting infrastructures across the region. Full article

Cancer treatment has traditionally focused on eliminating tumor cells but faces challenges such as resistance and toxicity. A promising direction involves targeting the tumor microenvironment using CAR T cell immunotherapy, which has shown potential for treating relapsed and refractory cancers but is limited by high costs, resistance, and toxicity, especially in solid tumors. The integration of nanotechnology into ICAM cell therapy, a concept we have named “CAR T nanosymbiosis”, offers new opportunities to overcome these challenges. Nanomaterials can enhance CAR T cell delivery, manufacturing, activity modulation, and targeting of the tumor microenvironment, providing better control and precision. This approach aims to improve the efficacy of CAR T cells against solid tumors, reduce associated toxicities, and ultimately enhance patient outcomes. Several studies have shown promising results, and developing this therapy further is essential for increasing its accessibility and effectiveness. Our “addition by subtraction model” synthesizes these multifaceted elements into a unified strategy to advance cancer treatment paradigms. Full article

The quest to reveal the physical essence of the infinitely many symmetries and/or conservation laws that are intrinsic to integrable systems has historically posed a significant challenge at the confluence of physics and mathematics. This scholarly investigation delves into five open problems related to these boundless symmetries within integrable systems by scrutinizing their multi-wave solutions, employing a fresh analytical methodology. For a specified integrable system, there exist various categories of n-wave solutions, such as the n-soliton solutions, multiple breathers, complexitons, and the n-periodic wave solutions (the algebro-geometric solutions with genus n), wherein n denotes an arbitrary integer that can potentially approach infinity. Each subwave comprising the n-wave solution may possess free parameters, including center parameters ci, width parameters (wave number) ki, and periodic parameters (the Riemann parameters) mi. It is evident that these solutions are translation invariant with respect to all these free parameters. We postulate that the entirety of the recognized infinitely many symmetries merely constitute linear combinations of these finite wave parameter translation symmetries. This conjecture appears to hold true for all integrable systems with n-wave solutions. The conjecture intimates that the currently known infinitely many symmetries is not exhaustive, and an indeterminate number of symmetries remain to be discovered. This conjecture further indicates that by imposing an infinite array of symmetry constraints, it becomes feasible to derive exact multi-wave solutions. By considering the renowned Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation and the Burgers equation as simple examples, the conjecture is substantiated for the n-soliton solutions. It is unequivocal that any linear combination of the wave parameter translation symmetries retains its status as a symmetry associated with the particular solution. This observation suggests that by introducing a ren-variable and a ren-symmetric derivative, which serve as generalizations of the Grassmann variable and the super derivative, it may be feasible to unify classical integrable systems, supersymmetric integrable systems, and ren-symmetric integrable systems within a cohesive hierarchical framework. Notably, a ren-symmetric integrable Burgers hierarchy is explicitly derived. Both the supersymmetric and the classical integrable hierarchies are encompassed within the ren-symmetric integrable hierarchy. The results of this paper will make further progresses in nonlinear science: to find more infinitely many symmetries, to establish novel methods to solve nonlinear systems via symmetries, to find more novel exact solutions and new physics, and to open novel integrable theories such as the ren-symmetric integrable systems and the possible relations to fractional integrable systems. The investigation of aerodynamics and the establishment of flow patterns around finite-length cylinders with various end shapes in a free, boundless air flow with longitudinal and transverse flow over a wide range of geometric and regime parameters is sketchy and does not have a wide range of geometric and regime parameters. This, in turn, affects the entire aerodynamics of the streamlined body. This paper considers the numerical simulation of a wind turbine made of combined blades. CFD (computational fluid dynamics) methods based on the realisable k-ε turbulence model were used in the study. The results on the influence of the position of the fixed blade on the angle of inclination are obtained (0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, and 60°). The authors found that the pressure of a fixed blade at an optimal angle increases the power coefficient Cp by 35–40%. The dependence of the Cp power coefficient on the rotational speed (speed coefficient) for a three-bladed wind turbine was also established, and it was determined that the maximum value of Cp = 0.28 at Z = 4.9. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that the wind turbine has a maximum power coefficient at an angle of inclination of 0 degrees. Full article

Atherosclerosis is a common form of cardiovascular disease, which is one of the most prevalent causes of death worldwide, particularly among older individuals. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for severe stenotic lesions, though the rate of restenosis remains relatively high. Current medication therapy for atherosclerosis has limited efficacy in reversing the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. The search for new drug treatment options is imminent. Some potent medications have shown surprising therapeutic benefits in inhibiting inflammation and endothelial proliferation in plaques. Unfortunately, their use is restricted due to notable dose-dependent systemic side effects or degradation. Nevertheless, with advances in nanotechnology, an increasing number of nano-related medical applications are emerging, such as nano-drug delivery, nano-imaging, nanorobots, and so forth, which allow for restrictions on the use of novel atherosclerotic drugs to be lifted. This paper reviews new perspectives on the targeted delivery of nanoparticles to blood vessels for the treatment of atherosclerosis in both systemic and local drug delivery. In systemic drug delivery, nanoparticles inhibit drug degradation and reduce systemic toxicity through passive and active pathways. To further enhance the precise release of drugs, the localized delivery of nanoparticles can also be accomplished through blood vessel wall injection or using endovascular interventional devices coated with nanoparticles. Overall, nanotechnology holds boundless potential for the diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerotic diseases in the future. Full article

This article studies a class of uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with state restrictions. RBFNNs, or radial basis function neural networks, are utilized to estimate the uncertainty of the system. To approximate the unknown states and disturbances, the state observer and disturbance observer are proposed to resolve those issues. Moreover, a fast finite-time consensus control technique is suggested in order to accomplish fast finite-time stability without going against the full-state requirements. It is demonstrated that every signal could be stable and boundless, and an event-triggered controller is considered for the saving of resources. Ultimately, the simulated example demonstrates the validity of the developed approach. Full article

This essay proposes a novel approach to religious education, one that stands in stark contrast to the often rigid and dogmatic nature of traditional religious instruction. The proposed approach seeks to cultivate deep awareness within students regarding their inherent limitations and their role as entrusted stewards in the grand design of God. It encourages students to move away from the temptation of godlike aspirations, such as the pursuit of boundless power and knowledge, instead positioning life on Earth as a divine destiny offering opportunities for growth, learning, and realizing one’s God-given potential. This form of religious education embraces doubt, uncertainty, and ambiguity, recognizing them as sources of motivation and meaning in a profound journey of faith. Inspired by John Hick’s and Abdolkarim Soroush’s works, this approach transcends traditional religious literacy, focusing on an encounter with the transcendent noumenal Real, and it is characterized by a sense of speechless awe, wonder, and astonishment before the riddles of existence and the beauty of the world. Ultimately, this essay underscores the importance of approaching religion as a system of relationships rather than as an ideology with all-encompassing answers. Full article
