Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Learning is an important intelligent behavior of human beings, and the current development of artificial intelligence also enables the computer to have the ability of "learning". Machine learning refers to "the behavior of the computer to automatically improve the performance of the system by using experience". With the overall development of medical big data and "artificial intelligence + medical", the application of machine learning in public health is becoming more and more extensive. Breakthroughs have been made in medical imaging, clinical decision support, speech recognition, drug mining, health management, pathology, and many other fields, which is of great help to improve the accuracy, safety, and reliability of medical system diagnosis.

We would be delighted to invite you to submit your original manuscripts, comments, position papers, and case studies on the concepts, developments, applicability, and applications of machine learning in the post-COVID-19 era in medicine and public health. It will also consider communications relating to lessons learned from the past and current health crises related to future pandemic preparedness.
