Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Sustainability and resilience are currently considered to be leading value-increasing strategies of industrial corporations and supply chains. In order to implement a sustainable and/or resilient strategy, it is necessary to measure and assess sustainable and/or resilient performance. Nevertheless, this still represents a relevant gap in the literature and practice. There are a number of frameworks and tools for sustainability or resilient performance assessment, but none are generally accepted by academics and practitioners. Also, an integration of the sustainable and resilient performance assessment is rather sporadic.

We invite researchers to contribute original research articles focused on the following:

  • Sustainability performance assessment/measurement/evaluation (or eventually its parts, namely: economic, environmental, and social)
  • Resilience performance assessment/measurement/evaluation
  • Integrated sustainability and resilience performance assessment/measurement/evaluation

Comprehensive, innovative, and quantitative approaches to the sustainable and resilient performance assessment of corporations, supply chains, or their parts (e.g., suppliers) will be preferred.
