Sustainability Webinar | Smart Transportation and Urban Planning for the Underserved, 18 September 2024
This webinar will explore the latest research on transportation challenges in urban and rural settings, particularly for underserved populations. It will also offer insights on the future of transportation planning in urban and rural landscapes, from enhancing safety to reducing emissions to improving equitable access across diverse demographics. Attendees will be introduced to interdisciplinary, community engagement strategies for practical applications of smart transportation. We hope to facilitate a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in creating inclusive, resilient, and sustainable transportation systems that serve the needs of all populations.
