The American Academy of Religion brings thousands of professors and students, authors and publishers, religious leaders and interested laypersons to its Annual Meeting each year. Co-hosted with the Society of Biblical Literature, the Annual Meetings are the largest events of the year in the fields of religious studies and theology. Some 10,000 people are expected for the 2018 Annual Meetings, where more than 1,000 academic sessions and additional meetings will be offered. 10–14 September 2018 ICSC 2018 - 7th International Conference on Spatial Cognition
We are pleased to announce the 7th International Conference on Spatial Cognition (ICSC 2018), which will take place on September 10-14, 2018, at ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome.
ICSC 2018 will be devoted to Spatial Cognition in a Multimedia and Intercultural World, thus exploring the links between the general topic of the Rome conferences and the challenges introduced by the new media and by increasing intercultural exchange.

SECTIONS IN SAN SEBASTIAN (2-6 OCTOBER 2018) at the UNIVERSITY OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY, PHILOSOPHY DEPARTMENT:
1. Since “Solvay 1927”: Nature and Quantum Physics (state of the art).
2. Back to Ionia: the conception of Physis that makes Physics possible.
Although the XIIIth edition of the International Ontology Congress will give priority to the sections mentioned above, papers focused on the development of the concept of nature will also be welcome, for instance, "the concept of nature in the Middle Ages" and similar topics.
All papers will be exclusively presented in San Sebastian.
