10–12 June 2020, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
XXVIII Biennial Meeting of the Specialized Group of Organic Chemistry of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry

This year the Biennial Meeting of the Specialized Group of Organic Chemistry (GEQOR) moves to the Canary Islands to celebrate its XXVIII edition during June 10-12, 2020. Without a doubt, this is the most important and numerous meeting on organic chemistry in Spain, with participation figures that have exceeded 300 participants in the last editions. The biennial meeting of the GEQOR constitutes an essential appointment for the whole Spanish organic community and a forum of unparalleled communication for the presentation and sharing of the most relevant results of the research that we develop in Spain. In this edition we will have an extraordinary cast of researchers of high international prestige distributed in 5 Plenary Lecturers, the Winners of the Medals Félix Serratosa and Ignacio Ribas 2020 and 10 Invited Speakers.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is an open and cosmopolitan city, with enormous cultural and scenic attractions, including the sculpture collection of the I International Exhibition of Sculpture in the Street (1973-1974), the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, the Tenerife Space of the Arts, the singular Palmetum or the García Sanabria Park. In addition, Tenerife offers spectacular landscapes within very short distances from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, making it a unique meeting place for the development of scientific encounters that seek to combine spaces of science, with those of culture and nature.

We would like to invite all researchers interested on the developing of organic chemistry, especially doctoral students and young researchers, to contribute, either in the form of oral communications, flash or posters, to the success of this biennial meeting. See you in Tenerife.
