Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Electrical Engineering, Control and Robotics are interdisciplinary areas that have their own identity, and they also often form cohesive interdisciplinary collaborations. Electrical engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with the study, design, and application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Control engineering is the engineering discipline that focuses on the mathematical modeling of systems of a diverse nature, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create a controller that will cause the systems to behave in a desired manner. Smart robotics bring together diverse concepts, disciplines, and techniques that, together, create a collaborative variety of useful devices, manipulators, and autonomous entities that serve the intended purposes of specific human communities such as manufacturing devices and medical and remote manipulators that function in a broad range of environments.

After the successes of past EECR conferences, 2023 the 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Control and Robotics (EECR 2023, http://www.eecr.org/) will be held in Wuhan, China during February 24–26, 2023. It is sponsored by the Wuhan University of Technology, China, supported by the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Huazhong University of Science and Technology; School of Information Science and Engineering, Wuhan University of Science and Technology; School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University; Wuhan Automation Association; Wuhan Power Supply Society, etc. EECR 2023 looks for significant contributions to all major fields of Electrical Engineering, Control and Robotics in theoretical and practical aspects. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field. The covered topics include Electrical Engineering, High Voltage and Insulation Technology, Control Theory and Systems, Measuring Technology and Instruments, Process Control and Instrumentation, Humanoid Robots, Robot Dynamic and Control, Robot Kinematics, Robot Vision, etc.

This Special Issue will publish selected papers from 2023 the 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Control And Robotics on Micromachines.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Micromachines is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
