Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of Metabolites, I am pleased to announce the winner of the Metabolites 2023 Travel Award. The award has been granted to: Mr. Francisco Maria Reis Ventura Rosado Traquete, a PhD student at the Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, who was awarded a Caixa Geral de Depósitos Award in 2021. The fields in the domain of Biochemistry and Bioinformatics and their applications are his main areas of interest. Additionally, he will attend the 19th Annual International Conference of the Metabolomics Society, which will be held on June 18–22, 2023.
As the awardee, he will receive an honorarium of CHF 500 and an electronic certificate.
With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winner on his accomplishments.
