Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Invited are innovative research work and both important and outstanding analytical results and outcomes. The context here is Social Science with interesting and relevant new work, with good motivation and justification, and very possibly, with great potential and demonstrated achievements. A major theme is the consideration of, and perhaps the integration of, qualitative as well as quantitative themes. Depending on the excellence of the submission, there can be analytical focus and priority or also cross-coverage. We may of course emphasize on the very important role here of correspondence analysis, also referred to as geometric data analysis, and how such methodology came from Jean-Paul Benzécri who had been with, in their early days, Pierre Bourdieu, whose work is well recognized as so very important in Social Science. While there is flexibility in regard to the content of the submission, broad coverage is as important as the orientation of the analytics, with both particularly significant for innovation, and it will be great to have innovation that enhances and extends the state of the art. In all that is at issue here, the mathematics of all methodology and the mathematical basis of the analytics will be very relevant in this journal. A final point to make is how important, potentially, the applications at issue will be in different countries, and such work can be fully integrated.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 850 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
