26–29 September 2018, Bodrum, Turkey
1st MEBAC a Summit on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Microbial Resources

It is expected that the summit with the full support of the Turkish Society of Microbiology and the KUKENS, as well as the Eliava Institute in Georgia will make a valuable contribution to the Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Caucasus regional scientific community, particularly in the fields of medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, veterinary medicine, food and chemical engineering, as well as making scientific exchanges possible in the fields of biology and biotechnology. No doubt that, with a wider participation from eminent scientists delivering presentations, the conference will deliver a global success. Scientists participating in the summit from the four corners of MEBAC will have the opportunity to meet both local and regional expert colleagues and exchange information and know-how. Although summit is targeting participations from the Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Caucasus (MEBAC) regions, the conference is open to the entire world. The World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC) accordingly, will have an “Observer” participant status in the Summit playing a key role in the world-wide dissemination of the advancements put forward by the MEBAC participants.
