Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The impact of uncertainty, vagueness, and risk is undeniable in the process of decision-making. Basically, most decision-making problems can be defined and categorized in a multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) outline. Strategic decision-making can be defined in short-term, middle-term, and long-term frameworks and usually has to deal with risk and uncertainty. Strategic MCDM presents a multi-disciplinary research opportunity among different fields of studies and can bring knowledge from different fields together. I invite researchers and authors to present their original research articles that cover risk, uncertainty, and strategic aspects of decision-making problems in the MCDM outline. This Special Issue will collect high-quality articles addressing these potential topics, including but are not limited to the following:

  • Uncertain dynamics, fuzzy dynamicsl
  • Prospective multiple attribute decision making (PMADM);
  • Risk analysis/modeling, sensitivity/robustness analysis;
  • MCDM in strategic management and planning;
  • “Futures Studies”;
  • Scenarios based on MADM methods/MADM based on scenarios;
  • MCDM in uncertainty.
