Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Due to their significant negative impact on life, sleep-related disorders in neurological disturbances are highly relevant to patients. Their manifestation is complex and frequently associated with psychiatric symptoms and emotional disorders that might have an impact on other functions, such as cognition; thus, new clinical tools of investigation and treatment which take into account the comorbidity of sleep disorders with other symptoms should be considered.

On the other hand, properly diagnosed sleep-related disorders respond well to treatment, but new evidence should highlight the effects of therapeutic strategies which include both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, without excluding novel combined therapeutic opportunities.

In this Special Issue, we welcome authors to submit papers on the research and clinical advance of sleep disorders in neurological diseases in terms of new treatment approaches.
