Minimally Invasive Coronary Revascularization: State of the Art

This special issue belongs to the section “Cardiac Surgery“.

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Coronary revascularization has undergone a paradigm shift from full sternotomy to incisions measured in centimeters. Advances in endoscopic internal-mammary-artery harvest, high-definition thoracoscopy, robotic instrumentation, and hybrid operating rooms allow for multivessel off-pump bypass, single-vessel anterior approaches, and totally endoscopic robot-assisted procedures to be performed safely on selected patients. These techniques reduce surgical trauma, transfusion requirements, and length of stay while preserving the long-term patency benefits of arterial grafting.

For this Special Issue, entitled “Minimally Invasive Coronary Revascularization: State of the Art”, we invite you to contribute a research paper or review article on any aspect of this topic, including all minimally invasive approaches.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
