Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

I am inviting you to submit your manuscripts to this Special Issue. Toxicology is the science of studying the health effects of toxins and toxicants, identifying their adverse effects using methods from the fields of biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and medicine. Over the past century, rapid industrialization and urbanization has increased injury to human health from chemical substances.

This Special Issue will focus on, but is not limited to, environmental and occupational pollutants such as organic solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, endocrine disrupters, cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins, and exploring their exposure routes, toxicokinetics, toxicodynamics, mechanisms, metabolism, biomarkers, and toxicogenomics, as well as their risk-assessment-related biomonitoring during exposure assessments and workplace health surveillance.

Because the goal and scope of this Special Issue are wide, a wide range of professions are welcome to discuss and debate interdisciplinally. Papers and manuscripts, including reviews, case studies, brief reports, and research articles are all welcome.

Prof. Dr. Hung-Yi Chuang
Guest Editor

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2500 CHF (Swiss Francs).
