Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Applications of engineering princicples to medicine for healthcare purposes is a recently-developed field, which continues to grow quickly. In this context, inovative ideas are presented daily by the scientific community.

The main purpose of this Special Issue is to present recent progress and the impact of fibers and textiles in biomedical engineering. In addition, this Special Issue aims to present an up-to-date overview of the pros and cons of current biomedical applications of fibers and textiles. This Special Issue will highlight recent progress related to the applications of medical-grade polymers, medical fibers and textiles, electrospun fibers, polymers for drug delivery, medical devices, 3D printing materials, etc.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
