Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The Guest Editors are inviting submissions for a Special Issue of Energies on entitled The Latest Technologies for Emerging Electromobility Applications. Because of increasing discussions on energy utilization and global warming, research on renewable energies and their applications, in particular electromobility applications, have garnered much attention. It is predicted that by 2040, electromobilities will outsell their gasoline and diesel counterparts. As one of the most promising renewable energy applications, the development of electromobility, such as hybrid vehicles, hybrid ships, and hybrid aircraft, has become a hot research topic. Regarding this research topic, there are countless recent technologies available, such as electric motor designs, control strategies, power controllers, power monitoring and management algorithms, manufacturing procedures, fabrication materials, electrochemical energy sources, and charging technologies. This Special Issue aims to collect advanced theoretical and technological findings on electromobility applications. Manuscripts with both theoretical interpretation and practical verification are encouraged. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Electric motors
  • Control algorithms
  • Power controllers
  • Power monitoring and management strategies
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Electrochemical energy sources
  • Charging technologies, including wireless power transfer

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
