Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Isolated Power System Connect (IPS Connect) 2019 will be held from 11–15 November 2019 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Isolated Power System Connect provides a unique opportunity for industry, academia and international experts working in the field of remote area power supply and isolated power systems to connect, discuss and share their ideas, present results, reflect on past experiences and discuss future projects.

The scope of the workshop is recent and involves original research and applications within remote-area power system engineering, with a particular focus on maximising RE contribution across islanded and remote area communities. The scope of the workshop includes but is not limited to high penetration battery-less RE integration, inverter technologies and advanced control and energy-storage applications.
