Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Early nutrition represents one of the most important determinants of child health, growth and long-term disease prevention. Increasing evidence suggest that nutritional exposures during infancy and early childhood may influence metabolic programming, immune function, neurodevelopment and the risk of obesity and chronic diseases later in life. Therefore, understanding the role of early nutritional strategies in clinical pediatrics is essential for improving health outcomes across lifespan.
This Special Issue aims to explore contemporary evidence regarding nutritional interventions and feeding practices in neonates, infants and children, as well as their effects on growth, development and disease prevention. We welcome original research articles and secondary research, including narrative reviews, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, addressing both clinical and public health perspectives in pediatric nutrition.
